Hobbies & Interests:

• Computers: I got my B.S. in IST from Penn State, I spend a LOT of time online. I download far more than I should, probably more than I could ever use. Enjoy building computers when I have the time and money.
• Science: biology and its subsets are my fave, but I also really like chemistry, astronomy, geology, and most forms of engineering.
• Video games: Have been playing since age 5 (Atari 2600). I play mostly turn-based RPGS. Looking to buy a DS soon. Love emulation, hence I have a hacked PSP. Also love Dance Dance Revolution and Stepmania.
• Anime/manga: Have been watching them for a long time. I haven’t seen everything, but I have seen quite a bit. Like just about every genre.
• Cooking: LOVE to cook. I have a truly massive recipe collection: 100+ cookbooks, 1000+ ecookbooks, and recipe software that has more in it than I can count. Will happily cook for any willing stomachs!
• Crafts: knitting, crochet, sewing, chainmail, jewelry, beading, starting to get into quilting and woodworking. Looking to possibly get into fursuit design and construction, as well as other furry crafts.
• Dance: I love burlesque and bellydancing. I would love to get into it for fun, but as a pro would be even better!. I also enjoy swing and salsa dancing
• Furry: I am a furry and proud.  Been an official furry since early September 2009, but have been displaying furry behaviors since 18.  Very into furry art, and looking to get into fursuiting.
• Music: I like some of everything. My favorite is electronica, especially techno and double especially trance. I’m a devotee of Armin van Buuren’s “A State of Trance” and DJ Tiesto’s “Club Life” radio shows.I also really like new age, classical, opera, goth/darkwave, and industrial music. Bottom of the list is country and gangsta rap, but even then there’s a few songs I like, such as “Before He Cheats” and “Gin and Juice”.
• Movies: Love sci-fi, horror, fantasy, action, adventure, virtually everything except “chick flicks”. Fave movies: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Matrix, Hellboy.
• TV: cartoons, documentaries, all sorts of “learny shows”. I hate reality TV and sitcoms.
• Reading: Almost exclusively non-fiction. I love textbooks and how-to’s, and have a weakness for Popular Mechanics and Popular Science magazines, as well as Computer Power User and Maximum PC.
